And let's not forget, if your subscription runs out, all your games that you got from the service are inaccessible. Granted, if this is anything like other old-school games that have appeared on the service, you could probably wait a month or so and buy the game normally, rather than subscribe to PlayStation Plus. The A Breath of Fire IV avatar bundle will arrive at the same time for 99 cents. The Comix Zone re-release will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers as part of the August 9th update along with an add-on bundle for Crash Commando and a trial of Far Cry 2. It also had a unique grunge-style soundtrack, which wasn't surprising, considering the game was made in the early-to-mid-90s. In addition to the unique premise, the game was known for its incredible difficulty, which made up for its fairly short length. It featured the main character jumping into a comic world he created in order to stop some evil force from switching places with him and taking over the real world. One example of this classic form of gaming is the Sega Genesis title Comix Zone, which is getting a re-release on PlayStation Plus very soon.įor those of you who remember, Comix Zone was a side-scrolling, beat-em-up exclusive on the Sega Genesis. But for those of us who grew up with gaming from a fairly young age, it's nice to look back at a simpler time, when the graphics were bright and simple, and the music consisted of beeps and boops.
